Tribulus terrestris, also known as Granny's teeth, is an annual herb whose aerial part is used as a natural stimulator of testosterone production in the body, which leads to improved function of the male reproductive system, increased libido and increased muscle mass and strength. The active substances in Tribulus are steroidal saponins. The herb causes an influx of blood to the genitals, which in turn increases potency. Estrogen increases in women, which leads to increased libido in them as well. The strength of the herb's action depends on its type and on the place where it grows. It is known that the strongest effect is given by Tribulus, which grows in Bulgaria, Turkey and Macedonia.
